Rob Cantrell (dad) has been missing in Mexico since June 20, 2023.

Funding goal has been updated to reflect new efforts on the ground. Donations will be used to help cover the following expenses:

"boots on the ground" search party member equitable wages
gas and other expenses of local search party
hospital bills that daddy might have accrued while in Mexico
flights to and from Cancun for necessary parties
car repairs for driver who has been spearheading this movement on the ground for weeks
private investigator fee
processing fee for legal filing of Ley De Amparo (pro-bono services)
hotel rooms for US-based search party members

continued financial support for Mexico-based investigator

Any additional funding not used for these expenditures will be applied to a long-term treatment plan or donated to organizations that assist with returning missing persons and those that provide mental, emotional and financial support to individuals struggling to find their loved ones.

Background

On July 1, we were alerted to a Facebook live feed from a local reporter, Israel Vega (Cancun) who picked Rob up and attempted to get him medical care on June 29. Rob was shirtless, shoeless and disoriented.

The photos emerging on the IMPACTO Facebook page show a general decline in Rob’s weight, hygiene and health. He appears to have large lesions and bruises on his body. He has been reported to walk the streets of this town with no shoes, asking for food and rides, but little else.

Following the live video (video has since been deleted), photos and reported sightings were added to Vega’s Impacto QR Facebook page. We are working with Impacto QR, @texasequusearch and a number of US and Mexico-based government agencies.
