Help Us Turn Kada’s 25th Birthday Into 100 Acts of Kindness Across Philadelphia

On November 18, 2026, we will celebrate the first official Kada Scott Day, a day dedicated to honoring the life, legacy, and beautiful spirit of Kada Y. Scott on what would have been her 25th birthday.

Kada was a vibrant, loving, creative young woman whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of those around her. Although her life was tragically taken far too soon, her legacy continues to inspire us to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Through The Kada Scott Foundation, we are committed to transforming unimaginable loss into meaningful action, ensuring that Kada’s name continues to represent love, opportunity, community, and hope.

Our Mission: 100 Gift Bags, Countless Moments of Kindness

In celebration of Kada’s 25th birthday, we are launching our inaugural “25 Acts of Kindness” Community Giveback Initiative.

Our goal is to assemble and distribute 100 gift bags filled with essential items, personal-care products, small gifts, and messages of encouragement to individuals and families throughout Philadelphia.

We hope to reach:

* Women and families experiencing hardship

* Young women and youth in our communities

* Seniors who could use a little extra care

* Families facing financial challenges

* Community members who could benefit from an unexpected act of kindness

Some bags will be distributed through local community organizations, while others will be shared during our Kada Scott Day community giveaway.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference

We are seeking to raise $1,500 to help purchase supplies, assemble gift bags, and coordinate distribution.

Your generosity can make a direct impact:

$15 — Sponsor one gift bag

$30 — Sponsor two gift bags

$75 — Sponsor five gift bags

$150 — Sponsor ten gift bags

$300 — Help provide 20 moments of kindness

Every contribution, regardless of size, brings us closer to our goal.

Funds raised will support the purchase of gift bag contents, packaging materials, and necessary distribution expenses. If we receive donated supplies or raise more than our immediate giveaway expenses, remaining funds will support future charitable programs and community outreach through The Kada Scott Foundation.

For our family, November 18 will always be Kada’s birthday. But through the love and support of our community, it has also become something more — an opportunity to celebrate her life by making a difference in someone else’s.

We cannot change what happened to Kada. But we can choose how her story continues.

And we can make sure her name continues to bring light into the lives of others.
