Find Amy's Ball-ball - ALS meets Sketch Comedy!

Donation protected
A barbaric sea lion tearing out its trainer's throat is one thing, but a little girl losing the ball-ball from the 2 o'clock show? THIS calls for action.

It's a ridiculous story that needs to be told, and the writer/director, yours truly, must Fast Forward.  He (I) was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 2020 and the clock is ticking. All indications point to him (me) making an early exit from this world, but there is important and farcical work yet to be done.

Tragedy Tomorrow, Comedy Tonite!

Little Amy wants to reclaim her plaything, and so do I. Your help will put me back in the sandbox with actors and camera people and expensive looking equipment and commands like "downstage right!" which I always get backwards.

This is part 2 of my ongoing sketch project; a tribute to the comedic lunacy of Monty Python, MAD-TV, South Park, SNL...and Homo sapiens itself. "How We Do," debuted last August, won several festival awards and, incredibly, almost all of the cast has agreed to return.

Another story depicts a Genius Bar where nothing works, there are too many choices, and you'd think someone would DO something. Like "Assumption Cafe," it features 3 actors playing 3 roles each in quick succession.

It also reinforces my live-stage-to-TV sketch concept for pitching to networks. It's a classic format that requires more work than usual, and is missing.

But I need to pay the "talent" haha, and the crew, and the theater. Truthfully, I'd love to go WAY over the goal  for future considerations... while Amy may need a new Ball-ball, I'm soon gonna need a new wheelchair, and a whole lot of other miserable shit.

Here's the postcard from last year.  The suite of 3 sketches can be viewed here:

And thank you thank you thank you.
