So as many of you may know, and some who may not, my family has fought through the trials and tribulations of my father's various health related issues for the majority of our lives.
The current battle is kidney failure, and the battle is being fought with every ounce of his and my family's energy, prayer, and love.
In January of 2003, my father (Tim) was blessed with a kidney/pancreas transplant after patiently waiting for 3 years. That transplant has extended my dad's time on this earth with his family by an additional 13 years, and we are thankful for every minute!
Unfortunately, this kidney/pancreas that has given my dad and our family so much life, has also gone into failure.
Once again we are playing the waiting game with the hopes of finding a matching donor for Tim. With the grace of modern medicine, the kidney function is being maintained through dialysis 3 days a week, 4 hours per day.
There is alot of pride/stubborness that runs in the family and asking for help does not come easy for him, or us. With that being said, this was a decision made on my own accord to relieve the stress and pain that I see my mother and father dealing with due to mounting medical costs.
Anything will help, and everything is more than appreciated!
Have a blessed day and keep your head up there are bright days ahead!
