Paralyzed Truck Driver Emergency Help Please!
Donation protected
A strong healthy man in the morning, paralyzed by evening. Drs continue to look for answers. Please, We Need Help! Robert is All American, loves the Astros, fishing and his family. He is a truck driver and on Saturday he was on a run across several state lines. He called his sister, Charlotte, to check on her. She noted his speech was slurred and he commented he had a headache. Later than evening, Robert was admitted to Mercy Hospital in St Louis. Within a short time he could no longer feel or move his legs. He was paralyzed. He couldn’t speak. He was unable to breathe on his own and was put on a ventilator and moved into Intensive Care. He has had a team of Drs running tests trying to determine what has taken over Roberts body. Stroke was ruled out. Covid negative. The Spinal Tap confirmed no bacterial infection. The MRI showed destruction to the myelin sheath at the base of the brain stem and spinal cord. Transverse myelitis ruled out. He’s able to communicate randomly thru blinking his eyes or letters on a board. Like many Americans, Robert is a hard worker but has no insurance. Christina, his wife, was recently diagnosed with Lupus and has been unable to work. We ask that you find it in your heart to help Robert and Christina with prayer and no contribution is too small. Peace Be With You All, The Broderick & Morlan Families
