Hello, my name is Finch—also known as Midnight Moss on most social media platforms. I am twenty years old, transmasc, and unemployed. I've been on testosterone for the better part of ten months. I am privileged to have insurance that covers most of the cost; however, I still have to pay about $30 every three months for the needles I need to inject the testosterone.
My mother can no longer financially support me in the way I need, and the job market is currently challenging. I lost my motivation the past few months to search for a job, but now that my life-saving medication is at risk, I feel more motivated than ever. That being said, I have to pay for my next round of needles in two weeks, and I have no way of easily making that money in time. I feel deeply guilty asking for this, as it's my own fault I don't have the money to pay for my medication, but if just six people could spare $5, I could afford my next batch of needles. Hopefully, this will be the only time I have to ask for such assistance, as I am hoping to have a job three months from now.
Thank you for your understanding and help.
Sincerely,
Finch
