Caitlin Stocks Ice Hockey FISU Games Italy 2025

Hi, My name is Caitlin Stocks and I am honoured to have been selected to represent GB students in the 2025 FISU World Winter University Games.

BUCS have set an athlete contribution of £2400, which covers from entry fees, technical fees, flights, accommodation and food, insurance and more.

The competition takes place in Italy, Torino and GB will play against:

Canada (1st)

Czech Republic (4th)

Japan (7th)

Kazakhstan (23rd)

Slovakia (16th)

Chinese Taipei (26th)

USA (2nd)

I currently play for Whitley Bay Beacons Women's in the Elite league and Sheffield Shadows in division 1 in the WNIHL, which are the top two leagues for women's hockey in the UK.

I am grateful and proud for the opportunity to represent the GB Universities at the games as this is a dream I have had once I knew I would be going to University. I do have to fund this trip myself so if you could help and make a donation ( matterhow big or small) to help me with this journey I would very much appreciate it.
