This goes out to anyone that would like to show their support for Mateo and his family. As you can imagine the emotional stress to watch their son go through such an event, can also be a financial burden especially being in a city where there is little to no support. 

As you may have heard, Mateo was involved in a head on collision on a highway. If it weren’t for the immediate 911 call, the airlift, the first responders on scene, and his six fantastic teams at UNMC he would not be with us today. He is covered in breaks and fractures, two collapsed lungs, a swelling leg, and lost 1/3 of his blood. We are hopeful, as his vitals are stable, however he is still in critical condition and has a long road of recovery ahead.

Neither his mom or dad are able to work while there, yet are paying out daily to be there for their beautiful son Mateo with hotels and food and what ever else may come up. 

I'm sure many of you have said or asked what you can do and this is a great way to show support so they can stay in Omaha longer to make sure Mateo has the support he needs so he can pull through this. 

Mateo has and always will be a strong willed child with determination, grit and an absolute soul of a fighter. So please help the family have the support they need so Mateo can have his mom and dad there as long as possible. 

The amount is irrelevant, it's the thought and the love that goes into the gift that matters. Thank you in advance for what ever amount you can give.
