The team at Ngurra Hub have started this go fund me to support and uplift our amazing volunteer Aunty Leonie Price.

As many people may know Aunty Leonie was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer and has so far endured 6 rounds chemo and is now completing 21 days of radiation. Recently at her checkup Aunty Leonie has been informed they have now found cancer in her Lymph Nodes.

This has been a devastating blow as Aunty Leonie was almost at the end of her treatment and was looking forward to getting back to normal and returning to work, this is now unable to happen as Aunty Leonie now has to endure a further 14 rounds of chemo to attack the cancer cells within her Lymph nodes.

As we all know the cost of living has skyrocketed and Aunty Leonie is struggling to not only stay strong through this treatment but also continue to afford to survive whilst being unable to work.

Aunty Leonie volunteers tirelessly within our Hub and the Community, she has always given back and is a much loved and cherished member of our team.
