Preface: my name is Leah Jensen, and I'm a close family friend and neighbor to Amber Allen whose dear, sweet husband Casey recently passed away. Amber will be the recipient of 100% of proceeds of this fundraiser (less applicable fees collected by GoFundMe). The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for Amber to cover the mounting medical bills, costs of the funeral, and to aid her while she figures out how to move forward following the loss of Casey. Amber has authorized me to withdraw the funds on her behalf and deliver them to her outside of GoFundMe.

The man…The myth…The legend!
Casey Allen was a giant among men. From the first moment I met him and his family I could feel their goodness. The more I got to know Casey the more I understood that he was everything that a man should be. He was strong. He treated his wife with kindness, respect, intense love, and complete devotion. She was his world. He loved his children more than words could adequately describe. He spent time with them. He taught his 2 sons how to be men…real men. He taught them to honor and respect women. He taught them to work hard and play harder. He adored his 2 daughters. He taught them that they could do anything. He believed in them and instilled a confidence in them that is rarely seen in our time.
Casey was so very kind. He was the first person to show up to greet someone new. The first person to serve and help anyone around him. He devoted his life to helping his family and others. I have witnessed countless people speak of his ability to cheer for the underdog and draw everyone in like family. Oh, and let’s not forget how hilarious he was. His sense of humor was infectious.
Casey was a man devoted to God. The light of Christ emanated from his very countenance. His kindness, gentle nature, and strong convictions were limitless.
It sounds like I am describing a superhero…and I am. Casey was by no means perfect, but he was perfect to those of us blessed enough to know him.
Casey entered the hospital on September 11th with Covid Pneumonia. He fought hard for 11 days before quietly passing to the other side of the veil. His wonderful wife, Amber didn’t leave his side for a moment through all the sleepless nights and long days.
Now is the time for us to rise up and help Casey’s beautiful family. Casey was the sole provider for their family so that Amber could devote her time to nurturing their 4 children. Now Amber and the kids need our financial support. Please be as generous as you are able. The money will go directly to covering the mounting medical bills, costs of the funeral, and to aid them while they figure out how to move forward.
Here are a few words from Amber that I found on Facebook:
“Casey is the best example of Christlike service that I know of. He is kind, loving and such a great example to our kids and me. He will always help others and is one of the first to step in to help. Love you Casey! You are truly the best example of Christlike love I can think of!”
“I am so grateful for my amazing husband! Casey is my rock, he can always make me laugh! Love you babe and grateful for all you do for us.”
