Financial Support For Tamara Hayward & Her Family

Hi, my name is Tamara, I am a single mum to 4. I am in financial hardship following the death of my 20-year-old son Iziah who passed away in our family home from injuries he received from a vicious hit-and-run attack just metres from home. Myself and 2 older boys performed CPR but were unsuccessful. I didn't realize my 6-year-old had observed the whole thing. At the time of the hit & run i had to quit my job to become a full time carer for Iziah, doctors held little hopes of him surviving the attack, he recieved multiple injuries including bleeding on the brain, spinal fractures, punctured lungs and screws placed on both sides of his pelvis, he also wasnt expected to ever walk again, over the course of the the next year he went on to have numerous surgeries which left him completly disfigured, he was in excrutiatin pain all of the time & suffered severe PTSD & depression. We are so greatful that we got to spend another year & a half with him, we will always treasure the happy times & remember him for the funny, kind & loving young person that he was. This has left myself and 3 surviving children traumatized & completely heartbroken. To add to the tragedy of loosing Iziah my son Paul was diagnosed with late stage brain cancer with a life expectancy of 3 years, Paul has had to undergo multiple cranial surgeries, followed by daily radiation and chemotherapy appointments. The treatment often leaves Paul feeling sick & he suffers from memory loss as a result. This has taken a toll on our whole family, it's not only been physically exhausting but also financially. After 6 years of living in our family home, we have had to move to a new home as the old home triggers trauma for my 2 youger children aged 6 & 17, they often suffer nightmares and flashbacks.
Up until now i have never been able to work up the courage to tell our story as its been extremely difficult, its filled with heartache, pain & grief. I have always worked to provide for my children & I am not normally one to ask for handouts but with much encouragment & support from a staff member at my sons school ive worked up the confidence to put this together.
I realise this is a very difficult time of the year with Christmas pending but anything big or small will help our family with removalist cost, the cost of bond as im not eligible for bond assistance, also the funds will also help provide us with some relief with cost associated with medical appointments and medications.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read.
