Greetings to All of Our Loved Ones
On February 8, 2020 we unexpectedly lost our beloved sister, Sanyi K. Harris; or affectionately known as Keni or Kenitra to her loved ones, due to a tragic work accident. Keni was a dedicated and hard working employee for the MBTA, for almost 10 years. Keni worked diligently and tirelessly to provide a home for her two children. A nurturing, caring and devoted mother, Keni is survived by a set of twins, Semi and Semiya Eriyo-Harris who turned 21 yrs. of age, just 7 days prior to her untimely death. Keni is also survived by three sisters who adored and admired her, Tonya, Najah (Chari), and Chala. In addition, Keni was a caring aunt to her niece and nephews, Khyel, Khyaire, Torri and Toren Jr. Her family and friends are deeply grieving her lost.
Keni suffered from medical issues but she never once made or used her illness as an excuse, to not properly provide for her family. Keni pushed through the limitations that others gave her. Keni made a pledge to herself to provide and supply her children with a stable and loving life. Keni always showed up to work with the motivation and drive to do the job assigned to her. The compassion she had to provide for her family gave her the strength to push forward and ensure her children and her loved ones, never went without.
It's with this passion and tenacity that we are reaching out to request donations to assisit with her children's financial stability. We are hoping the funds raised will go towards ensuring her children will still be able to continue living in the home, their mother purchased for them, nearly two years ago.
