Accident that took place on last Wednesday morning brought so much worry and misfortune on our family. Dad is alive. And for that I am extremely grateful. I thought we might loose him forever when the news of this accident were given to us. Thankfully my dad is strong and stubborn ( oh so stubborn!) and isn't going anywhere this easily. As much as his stubbornness was frasturating at times I love him for it more than ever in this moment! As my 60 yr dad is in a SCIU in a Wisconsin Tramuma hospital fighting strong to push through multiple serious injuries my mom is devistated. After one of few surgeries still to come we know that dad isn't going to be able to walk right away. His pelvis was broken. He will require physical therapy and overall it's not known if he will be able to return to his trade as a construction worker. There is no disability so the income that he was providing to take care of the home and our family is gone. Ofcourse we (my siblings and I) will do what we can to help but touched by our own recent misfortunes we are also desperate, worried and sad we arent able to help as much as we would want to. I figured I'll give this a try. They say it doesn't hurt to ask. The worst you can hear is "no". But prayers will also help and if unable to help by donation I ask that you pray for my dad, Jan Wyka so he can stick around and grace us with his stubbornness for years to come. Thank you for taking time to read this and for prayer, donation or warm thoughts.
