Financial support for Mary Rose
Donation protected
On July 5th, an elderly homeless woman living in her car lost everything in a fire. Her name is Mary Rose and she's my mother in law.
She's lived in her car mostly in the Concord, NH area for years. She's never touch a drug, doesn't drink, but has an undiagnosed mental illness that makes holding a job and receiving services challenging.
Aside from her struggles, my mother in law is a human being, an amazing grandmother to two little girls, and a selfless member of the Concord community. She used to be a lab scientist for the State of NH and to this day, she loves science and actively practices trigonometry, calculus, algebra, and geometry- often right in her car. She's always loved astronomy can identify dozens of constellations, stars, and planets.
If I had the means to buy her housing, an entirely new car, and replace all of her belongings, I would in a heartbeat. My hope is that your donation would replace some of the essential items she lost in the fire, cover the remainder of the loan on her prior car, and potentially fund a down-payment on a new one.
