We are saddened by the sudden passing of our dear brother, Luis Mendez. On Friday, May 10 at the age of 60, Luis was called home to be with the Lord.  


He was an amazing husband, father, son, mentor, big brother, confidant, advisor, uncle and faithful friend to many.  We called him “Doctor Love” due to the way he was able to make anyone he encountered feel so special. Luis was instrumental in helping to lead the San Diego Church serving both as an elder and evangelist, overseeing several ministries in Mexico, as well serving on the ICOC Elders Service Committee.


Our hearts break for Silvia, his wife of 28 years, his son Luis Jr., his daughter Jennay, and their extended family during this time.
