If you know my mom, then you know that she is the most selfless woman. All the times she has helped others and now is our time to be able to help her in a less-invasive, more beneficial way!

In November, my mom got an x-ray of her lungs because of her looming and persistent cough. She unfortunately got results back that she had massive nodules in her lungs and proceeded to get a CT scan. That scan showed a blood clot in her jugular and was rushed to the hospital. There, in the hospital they gave the unfortunate news that what she has going on may be lung cancer. After TWO failed biopsies on her liver, lungs, and throat, the third came back that it was indeed lung cancer.

With no health insurance, the cost of all biopsies, tests, scans, doctor/hospital visits, will all be out of pocket and no doubt, costly.

My mother has been self employed for almost 20 years! She uses every part of her body in what she does and is more than happy to be available and help the ones she loves. Unfortunately now, she is limited to small amounts of work that will not strain her body. She is weak by night and once chemo treatment starts, she will feel even more incapable of much movement.

This fundraiser is to help her relieve the stress of work and needing to keep her income steady to get by with all the medical bills.
