Financial Support for Kristy Lindsey & Her Family

My name is Brooke Shea. It is with the heaviest heart that unfortunately, our incredibly loved Kristy has experienced a multitude of illnesses. She has been in the care of many doctors for the last 2 weeks fighting for her life, but ultimately, she has experienced a bacterial infection that has spread to her brain that she will not be returning from. Many people talk about how unfortunate it is when bad things happen to good people, however, this does not begin to encapsulate the level of "good" that Kristy is. Trying to verbalize this colossal level of tragedy is incalculable.

 

Kristy is only 43 years old. The thought of her leaving this physical world is not something that we thought we would have to consider, let alone be forced to face and process. She is a wife, mother and daughter. She and her husband, Kiley, have been married for 22 years and have been partners for 27 years. Within this time, they have become each other's oldest and dearest friends. They have built a beautiful life together. She has 2 children, Heaven (14) and Dylan (12) who she has loved with every fiber of her being. Kristy is a special kind of mama. In addition to her children, she loved and mothered everyone around her. When you enter a space of Kristy's, you can feel the love. Everywhere Kristy went, everything Kristy touched... it just felt like home.

 

To say that Kristy's family is feeling anguish is inadequate. If you are able, I ask that you consider a donation. If you are unable to give a monetary donation, I ask that you say a prayer. Pray that her spirit watches over her children and husband. Pray that her children and husband are able to stay strong. Pray that the people who have grown to know and love Kristy feel her warmth and know that she is the best guardian angel. There is nothing that we wouldn't give to have her back with us. This world was a better place with Kristy in it.

 

Her husband, Kiley Lindsey, will be receiving these funds. At this time, these funds will be allocated to a memorial service for Kristy, expenses and bills for their house and when the time is appropriate, therapy and grief counseling for her family.
