On September 15th 2021, John Gignac was diagnosed with ALS. This was very shortly after him and his wife Katey found out that they were pregnant with their first daughter. John and Katey’s family has since grown and they now have a beautiful family of four, with two daughters under the age of two. John is one of the most genuine, kind, and caring people you will ever meet. John is an incredible father to his two beautiful daughters and if you have ever heard him talk about them it is with the upmost pride. Despite John’s disease, he continues to shine a positive outlook on life.

Katey is dedicated to caring for John throughout this diagnoses so that he can spend his time with his family. ALS is terminal and as his disease has continued to progress, day to day care has become harder. In order for John to stay in his home, under the care of his loving wife Katey and with his family, accommodations will need to be made to their home to help him function from day to day. We are asking for your help in making this possible for the Gignacs.

We know this target is high as the upcoming expenses are more than the family had anticipated but every little bit helps and is appreciated.
