On Sunday Novemeber 10th, I went into Anaphylaxic Shock and was admitted to the ICU in St. Francis Muskogee.
After which I was intubated and administered a PICC line Tuesday the 12th due to persistant anaphylaxis and I was kept on a ventilator until Friday the 15th. After some improvement I moved to the regular floor, however I developed complications from the intubation, such as severe chest pain, migraine, extreme nausea, vomiting, difficulty swallowing and eating, low grade fever, body aches, as well as muscle weakeness/atrophy. I was cleared of any pnemonia or infection and I was submitted to Speech Therapy and Physical Therapy. Eventually I was discharged Friday November 22nd after some more signs of improvement and there showed now signs of infection and the PICC line was removed.
I was sent home with a walker from Physical Therapy since I still have extreme fatigue and muscle weakness. I was also instructed to follow up with my Primary as well as a Lung Doctor and do Lung Therapy to help improve lung condition.
However on late Saturday afternoon, I had persistant migraine and head and neck pain. Extreme veritgo and lightheadedness and episodes to where I lost consciousness. The following day I had 10 more episodes of fainting and losing consciousness after coughing up yellow phlem as well as nausea and vomiting.
After which we decided to head back to the ER at St John Broken Arrow to check for pnemonia or any other infection. They did chest CT with Contrast and a head CT for the migraine as I was unable to move my legs after the syncope episodes. Late Sunday afternoon I was transported to St John Main in Tulsa to see specialists to try to find the cause of the syncope episodes. Once here on Monday November 25 doctors ran a series of tests to find out what was causing the persistant migraine and continued syncope episodes. They did an EKG, heart Echo, EEG, Chest and Abdomen CT, Ultrasounds to look for blood clots, and an MRI of my head. Test results show a mild collapse of my lower lobes of my lungs as well as blood clots from the PICC Line in my neck in my Jugular Vein as well as a clot in my Cephalic vein. I have been given blood thinners to try to help with the clot and medication to help with head, neck, and chest pain. I was finally discharged today Nov. 30th from the hospital.
Due to my hospitalization my mom and I have been unable to work as she has been consitantly at my side for support. We are asking for help to get back on our feet due to not having any income coming in for a month. Im not sure when I will be able to go back to work so anything will help. Please continue to keep my family and I in your prayers during this tramatic time and my recovery. We really need any help we can get as we have no money for food or any bills coming up. Rent and electric are due and our water is about to be cut off. If you could donate to our cashapp or to this gofundme anything would be appreciated, no matter how small. If you cant donate please share.
