Donation protected
On Friday, September 17th, Daljeet was in a vehicular work accident where he had a collision with his own truck. He was taken to Sunnybrook with internal bleeding in the lungs and broken ribs, was immediately sent to the ICU and operated right away, and has remained hospitalized in the ICU since the surgery. Currently, Daljeet is being monitored for high blood pressure and is facing signs of poor lung function.
Daljeet is an overall nice guy, friendly, always the cheery one, works hard at his job to provide for himself and his wife.
In these situations, it is difficult to know how to help as a friend or family member, but one simple thing we can do is to support them financially so that money is not a concern within everything they already have on their minds.
On top of the seriousness of Daljeet’s accident, his wife is also unemployed as they are also expecting their first child in November.
Some of Daljeet’s colleagues/peers/friends wanted to help so that is the motivation for launching this endeavor. Any amount of money you donate will go a long way! 100% of the proceeds (after standard payment credit card fees) will go directly to them.
Funds will be used for medical expenses, transportation, housing, food, and all of the other expenses that will be incurred due to Daljeet’s injuries.
