Let's do it for Ces!

Dear friends, colleagues in the industry, fellow Filipinos and Aussies, and strangers,

We're setting this up to ask for your support for our dear friend and colleague, Ces.

Ces is one of the most, if not THE most bubbly, caring, and uplifting people you could ever meet.

As a super dedicated personal support worker, she’s spent her life looking after others — always with a bright smile, a kind word, a few dance steps with her songs, and a heart full of compassion.

This suddenly changed when she did not turn up for work last week for a seemingly ordinary night shift. Work family eventually found her on the floor of her unit after lying there for hours following what was confirmed a haemorrhagic stroke.

Right now, she needs the same care and kindness from the community she’s given so much to. With no immediate family nearby, Ces is facing this incredibly difficult time largely on her own.

Her family, friends and colleagues have become her immediate support system — but the challenges ahead are more than any one of us can carry alone.

She’s currently unable to work and will require ongoing therapy, medical care, and help with everyday living expenses while she recovers. The financial strain is significant, and we want to do everything we can to make sure she can focus on healing — not bills.
