*Originally written and started on 1/24/20: Our dear and deeply loved Bethany has been battling breast cancer close to four years now. She's quietly shared recent news of her chemo medication not being as effective as hoped, which has then led to further spread and growth. As she recently moved forward in her adjusted treatment plan, her health has seriously declined and her liver has been working hard to get into a stable condition. Her mother and husband are the closest immediate family she has down in Miami, and they're doing all they can to split shifts with her in the hospital and care for Eli and Jonah. She can't have many visitors due to her health being too fragile at the moment, so those of us that are far away would love to help in anyway possible. In discussions with her mom, they could use a lot of financial support for the following: groceries/meals for the boys, Starbucks and comfort treats for Bethany in the hospital, weekend and fun activities to distract the boys, gas money, and cleaning services for their home. None of these things were directly requested, of course. As you all know Bethany, she's never directly fundraised for herself or her family. She's always selflessly fundraised for Susan G Komen. With this current turn of events, it's apparent that her inability to work and the time off that Matt needs to take, they could use any help from us. Thanks for all of your help.
