On 8/3/20, my father Mark Anderson suffered a severe heart attack. He was unconscious and operated on immediately at Fairview Southdale. He was later transferred to the University of Minnesota Medical Center. The doctors kept him in a medically induced coma and received numerous blood transfusions. An ECMO machine was put in place so that his heart could rest.  Dad never woke up. We got a phone call Friday night that he had fluid building up in his brain and against his spine. Even though things were looking promising, as he was taken off the ECMO machine a day prior and his heart was strong, Dad's body was damaged more than we thought. Dad passed away early Saturday morning 8/8/20. These events happened so suddenly making this hard for my mom, Crystal Anderson, and me to process. It is very difficult to ask this but we need help with whatever people can give. Managing future expenses are going to be rough.
