Malheureusement, le 20 décembre 2022, Alexandre a été victime d’un grave accident qui a entraîné l’amputation de sa jambe gauche, juste en dessous du genou. Cela s’est passé seulement 9 jours avant son 20e anniversaire.

N'importe qui ayant eu la chance de passer du temps avec Alexandre sait à quel point qu'il est incroyable. Un jeune homme mature avec de bonnes valeurs et un bon sens de l’humour! Il a aussi en vue d’excellents projets personnels et professionnels qui font une différence positive dans ce monde. Cette blessure ne l’empêchera pas de s’épanouir et de profiter de la vie.

Avec l'approbation d'Alexandre et au nom de la famille, je crée ce Go Fund Me car plusieurs nous ont contacté pour aider. Non seulement cela donnera à Alexandre un coup de pouce pour cette « nouvelle » réalité et ses projets futurs, mais cela aidera également à couvrir les coûts liés à l’adaptation de la maison, aux allers-retours pour les rendez-vous, à l’achat et à l’adaptation de ses prothèses, etc. Si nous recevons plus de fonds que nécessaire, Alexandre fera don de l’argent à des organismes de bienfaisance locaux ou à d’autres personnes amputées dans le besoin.

Unfortunately, on December 20th, 2022, Alexandre was in a serious accident that resulted in the amputation of his left leg, just below the knee. This happened just 9 days before his 20th birthday.

Everyone who had the chance to spend time with Alexandre knows how amazing he is. A mature young man with great values and a good sense of humor! He also has great personal and professional plans that are making a positive difference in this world. This injury will not stop him to thrive and enjoy life.

With Alexandre's approval and on behalf of the family, I've created this Go Fund Me since many reached out wanting to help. Not only it will give Alexandre a kick start for this "new" reality and his future plans, but it will also help with the costs involved such as adapting the house, traveling back and forth to appointments, purchasing and adapting his prosthetics, etc. In the event we receive more funds than needed, Alexandre will donate the money to local charities or other amputees in need.
