Hi I'm Greg and my friend Y was sexually assaulted in 2024. I am raising funds to support her immediate and medium-term financial needs. Please donate if you can.

What will the money be used for?

Some costs have already been incurred (hospital visit, travel to locations where friends could support her in the immediate aftermath, extended stay in the location of the assault to file a report with local police, initiating various forms of therapy) and others are being delayed until sufficient funds are available (fuller counseling/therapy, etc.).

As my friend has very limited income, any money collected beyond the goal will also go towards her future health and wellbeing needs.

Why the anonymity?

My friend is currently does not want to publicly disclose her identity.

I am operating this fundraiser as only very few people know that we know each other, so it is very unlikely you will identify her through me.

I have also been working (with varying degrees of success) to support survivors and prevent occurrences of sexual assault within dance scenes for the past 10 years, and have some degree of financial comfort. This hopefully means that you can trust me that this money is needed and will be put to exactly the use I say it will.
