Hi, I’m Emily Sean Preston’s Auntie

on the 15th of July Sean P was rushed to hospital after my sister Becky and husband Shaun found him struggling to breathe, after a fall whilst playing out with his friends. Once they got to hospital they found he had a collapsed lung and chest and abdomen full of fluid. He’s was blue lighted through to Leeds hospital where they’ve taken great care of him and took a lot tests and have started draining the fluid. Test results came back on 22nd after an MRI scan and revealed he had 5 cancerous tumours where his right lung should been poor boy has had this for 6 years unnoticed and would of never noticed if he didn’t have the fall. Doctors have advised my sister and her husband not to mention about the cancer to Sean as will help him cure. He has surgery on the 28th to see if they can remove the tumours and fix his lung. It’s going to be a long ride for him and will probably spend his 16th birthday in hospital or undergoing treatment for his cancer and lung.

It has been a difficult time for him and difficult for my sister and her husband and their other 5 children, they are having to travel back and forth to Leeds every day from Bridlington and it’s been hard on them financially, the cost of travel, food when seeing Sean and keeping the home running.
