Financial Security & Safety in COVID-19

Hi all! This isn't my first fundraiser, but it's one I'll be leaving up for a while. Simply put, my partner's out of work and we're both struggling financially. While we're both trying to find employment, both of us have cut contact with parents who were providing financial support (at an emotional cost) and only *then* got hit by a bunch of bills at once. We've managed to hold it together through most of the pandemic so far, but we're running the risk of not being able to pay rent.

This fundraiser has a pretty high amount set - that's because it covers a full year of rent, several unpaid bills (including an urgent phone repair, car maintenance & outstanding car insurance bills), and a year of car insurance. Ideally, I won't *have* to touch it and it'll be a backup fund; realistically, it's very much needed, and having only my Patreon and freelance income between us and homelessness is a horrible place to be especially as we get into winter.
