Hi there, my name is Chad. I am creating this fundraiser to help after a debilitating and horrific accident happened to the girl that I love. . I want to share our story and anyone out there that feels compassion and may have an extra dollar or two to help out the cause, It will be more than greatly appreciated, and will be of great help to get us stable again one day. I have two young boys that are 9 and 12 years old that Jackie has taken as her own and I could not ask more out of her because she is fantastic with them and if you ask them they would say the same thing. We have been together for about 4 years . We've been through some tough times. on August 28 2019 after working the lunch shift at the Olive Garden. Jacki got on her bike rode across the street to Sheetz to grab me lunch. while exiting Sheetz. Jacki was ran over by a Tri Axl Dump truck. to my work on her break and it was great. What happened on August 28th 2019 has now changed our entire life, more so hers then mine but none the less has affected our entire family. She was hit by the front quarter panel. the front tire ran over her left thigh tire and she is still conscious under the truck, screaming and yelled and curled up in a ball to protect her vital organs, and the rear 4 tires ran over the bottom of her leg continued in the right hand turn and proceeded to run over her left leg ankle and foot and pretty much destroy everything from her knee down. Both of her leg bones were broken, every bone in her foot. she suffered a complete degloving injury. There was no muscle, tissue, skin, and she had a severed artery. She was bleeding to death in the street. Jacki had a Angle that day. Diane a Sheetz worker, previously a paramedic. just off work. Saw it happen and ran to assist her. Diane kept her from going into shock, and prevented someone from removing her shoe. As, that would have severed the artery. Jacki was in a medically indused coma for 3 days, she received 3 units of blood. She made the brave decision, after 3 days to go with the amputation, knowing the leg could not be saved. she had 7 surgeries, 2 infections, had to have the amputation redone, over a month in the hospital. It's April and she still doesn't have her prosthetic. she is still healing. she just did another 10 days in the hospital. Another infection, and another surgery. Please Share, and do whatever you can Thank you All Chad
