My sweet nephew Gavin was transferred and admitted to UC Davis earlier this week with pneumonia caused by 2 viruses and has lung disease. Gavin is high risk, as he has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which weakens the muscles and causes muscle degeneration. His o2 levels have been in the 70’s so is receiving breathing treatments every 2 hours.

Gavin is such a joker and always making us laugh, and is so close with his older sister and younger brother Rylan. He truly is a special kid.

The family lives in Paradise which is hours away so it’s costing my sister $80 round trip in gas. This is obviously causing a financial hardship on the family. Donations will also help with hotel stays nearby.
