Bearwallow Provision Community needs your urgent support. This GoFundMe is solely designed to help Erik Julian and the other owners of Gerton’s own BearProCo recover financially from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, resulting in the total loss of this critical fixture in our tiny town.

Unfortunately, the building that BearProCo resides in is unsalvageable. All retail items have been damaged or looted. Donations will be used to make the owners financially whole.

For over four years, BearProCo has been a gathering place in the Gerton community, bringing together residents as well as tourists. The community depended on this shop as a meeting place, a musical venue, and a location to hang out and enjoy one another.

The Gerton community is devastated by this loss. The owners will only be able to consider re-opening the shop if first the costs to recoup losses are covered. This GoFundMe is phase one of the plan to move forward.
