I really, really hate that I have to do this again, but I'm running out of money to keep my dad in his facility until I can find a new place for him. The funds I've collected will be gone around April 1st.  In addition, the IRS started garnishing his back taxes and he is now receiving less than $2000 a month (his current room & care is $4700/month).  Additionally, his dementia has gotten worse since my mother's death and needs a greater level of care.

I am taking days off of work to cold-call Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Bay Area to see if they have availability AND if they take Medical, but am getting nowhere.  I want to show up in person, but I can't do that with COVID restrictions right now.

Kaiser's social workers aren't getting back to me, nor are the many "senior placement" agencies I've contacted.  He needs a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that accepts Medical.

I'm hoping with some more donations I might be able to keep my dad where he is until I can find the golden ticket.
