Help us Support Kinsley’s fight with Leukemia

Update:  Kinsley’s Chemotherapy is going as planned. She is on track to start the Chemo Maintenance phase by summer 2022.   This is When I (her father) will be able to return to work.

On June 14 Kinsley was Diagnosed with B-Lymphoblastic Lukemia (B-ALL)

It’s hard to believe that just over 1 month ago our 3 year old daughter Kinsley was living a normal life with not a care in the world. A young, vibrant, and active girl, Kinsley had to watch her friends and cousins run, play, and enjoy themselves but unable to join in the fun. Around the start of June Kinsley started walking with a limp and saying her legs hurt.., it was after our weekend at camp and she was playing hard all weekend. She was riding her bike for the first time and the next day she started telling me her leg and ankle hurt. I though maybe it was over use.. I bought her new shoes with more support because she was wearing Sandles all weekend. She didn’t complain about her leg for about a week. About a week later she started saying her legs hurt again and started walking with a limp, a few nights later she could not sleep and kept saying how bad her legs hurt. The following morning when we woke up she was limping very bad. Her grandmother came over to see her and when Kinsley got off the couch to walk to her, Her gramma gave me a look and said you need to bring her to Golisano ER immediately. One of Kinsley’s cousins had got Lyme disease a few years ago and his symptoms were very similar. We thought maybe she had gotten bit by a tick and had Lyme disease. When we got to the ER we told them we were concerned she got bit by a tick. They drew blood and sent us home. They called us back at 9AM the next day and told us we needed to pack bags and come in immediately To the cancer center….that’s where our nightmare began.

So our family can spend this most precious time with our Daughter during this time of need, donations will help with expenses of continuing to take care for Kinsley and her 2 siblings, monthly recurring financial obligations, and the additional costs that are incurred while being beside your child during cancer treatment.

We have faith in the medical team at Upstate Cancer Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital and know Kinsley will receive the best care. Our family has faith we will get through this - though we know there is a long and tough road ahead. If you find you are able to donate to this cause, please know you are truly helping a family and child in need. No words can express the gratitude we have for your kindness.
