Our dear friend Ben has recently been diagnosed with cancer in his throat. After an emergency tracheotomy to restore his breathing, tissue samples and biopsies were taken and tested, revealing the full extent of the surgeries needed and treatments to follow.

He and his angel Kaleigh have just arrived in Kelowna for this latest 7hr surgery. Thankfully he has passed this major hurdle and now will remain in the ICU for several days yet, and in hospital for another 10 days while recovering.

Then, home to heal for 8 weeks with ongoing care and treatments. Then radiation…

Needless to say this will be a long journey where help and support in many forms will be welcome.

This campaign is aimed at lessening the financial strains. During this period Ben will not be able to work and will be needing help to cover expenses while away, bills back home, the recovering afterwards and therapies to follow.

Any and all help will be appreciated and will enable him to focus on healing and recovery, getting him back to us for more ‘Good Times Good Times’ again soon!
