Financial help towards a education attorney

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tameika Flowers Goode. I’m fundraising for my 7year old son’s education. Since 2021 until current I’ve been continuously fighting with Petersburg Public School District & Hopewell Public School District for depriving my son of his special educational rights. My son has been mistreated, neglected, and discriminated against from one school to the next. The school hasn’t been able to accommodate his disabilities and instead of providing the resources that he needs so that’s he could succeed in a school setting and receive the proper education he deserves. My family has experienced so much pain, suffering and trauma that it has caused us to loose our home and become homeless, loose my job, been incarcerated, my son had several life threatening incidents with abuse and bullying that hasn’t been addressed. False allegations has been put on him due to them not being able to tolerate him in school. He lost his father in December of 2020 and went into a severe state of regression. Along with him already having previous disabilities that the school fail to acknowledge. The school called me daily to pick him up, and in 2021 he missed 136 days out of school. In 2022 he missed 103 days of school, and the current year we’ve experienced the same things even with switching the school system. It caused to get a special education advocate because they kept denying him services and to able to get him a IEP per doctor’s recommendations.I had to recently pull my son completely out of school for his safety and mental health. They failed to provide any resources or extra help to assist him with furthering his education but keeps suspending him due to his behaviors that he can’t sometimes control. By him not being in school enough my son is behind in his development and learning abilities. As a parent I feel no child should have to experience this mistreatment for this long period of time especially when my child shows no signs of aggression. They have violated so many of his rights as a human being and education rights that he is now afraid to go to school and feels like a failure that nobody cares to help so he gave up. I’m planning to fight for justice for my family and others that has experienced similar situations. To bring some light to the laws of the public school systems, special education and to get these teachers the proper support they deserve to be able to accommodate these children to prevail. Now days it’s so many issues, with the children from home to school because nobody’s acting on whats necessary. These children are not being heard, they don’t feel safe, and everyone is doing bare minimum with no compassion that they are dealing with the youth. It’s a lack of communication, documentation and consistency that’s causing it to get out of hand and it has to start somewhere to stop someday. So if you could find it in your hearts to help my son get a attorney so that I can argue for justice of our future leaders. I feel it in my soul that it needs to be done for a change and I’m willing to take this journey by any means for my child and other children. Our duties as adults and professionals is to help support, navigate, educate and enhance their creativity. not to label them and set them up for failure and acts of violence at a early age. Their just innocent children that doesn’t know unless we teach and guide them differently. In the future I plan to start a career providing childcare support services for single mothers with disabled children. To be able to give mothers, especially mothers with no support and limited finances. As a special needs mom and what I’ve experienced, it can be overwhelming at times. You can possibly loose yourself, your mental health and physical health could decline. So I want to be one more compassionate person to help prevent Mental Illness and Suicide Awarness amongst our society and community. Thank you for taking the some to provide any contributions, supports and even your time to hear our story. Like Martin Luther King quoted “ Violence Is The Language Of The Unheard” LETS MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!
