Help for the Melton Family

August 11, 2021- the day our family’s nightmare began. Scott (my brother) came home feeling sick. He and my niece were both experiencing sickness and unfortunately, they both tested positive for COVID-19. My sister-in-law, Melissa, remained untouched by this virus and tested negative. She continued to take care of my niece and brother while they were sick and fighting to get better. My niece gradually got better but my brother progressively got worse and was eventually rushed to ER on August 19th, unable to breath properly. He was admitted to the hospital and placed on oxygen. This lasted for 9 days. During that time he was not able to recover and continued to decline. On August 28th he was rushed into the ICU and was intubated. To this day, he is continuing to fight for his life. This terrible virus has affected our entire family. Our number one hope and prayer is for him to recover and come home to us. But COVID doesn’t just attack the body, it attacks every aspect of our lives, including financial stability. My sister-in-law is not just dealing with the heartbreak of seeing her husband fight for his life, but she is also staring at financial ruins. Because of this, I am reaching out to ask for any donations you are willing to provide.
