Financial help for STROKE RECOVERY
Donation protected
Hello friends and family, etc.
I am humbling myself at a time that none of us expect to creep upon us and so I am just putting it out here and see what happens. Last week (Mon 01/23) I had to have a surgical procedure that I have been needing for awhile and the date opened up and I grabbed it. It was hernia related stomach and esophageal surgery and it was much more involved than I had anticipated or realized ahead of time.
It was originally supposed to be day surgery and go home, but after a 6 hour surgery and 4 days in the hospital, I am finding myself still recovering very slowly a week later at my best friends home and unable to work yet. We have no insurance or paid time off at my job (I’m in car sales) and we don’t get paid unless we sell) and the car biz hasn’t been very fruitful for quite a covid while as one may have read about or seen on the news.
I am a bit embarrassed putting this out there, but sometimes you have to just do what makes you uncomfortable, ask for some help and see what happens or you will never know. I am just trying to stay afloat for about a month of recovery, pay medical and not be in a financial hole I can’t get out of.
I know this isn’t the worst case anyone has every heard - certainly I have my life and have not been attacked or gone thru a natural disaster and need help that way. Praying for understanding to all who read this and offering an extreme amount of gratitude to those who can help in any way. Prayers are always welcome.
Any funds received will go for medical bills, prescriptions, rent, utilities, and miscellaneous living expenses. I want to go back to work ASAP, but estimated recovery is 4 to 6 weeks. I am going to fight to make it back sooner.
If I get better more quickly and back on my feet, so to speak, I will discontinue the GoFundMe page and try to help someone else.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
