Financial help for Shawn and Chelsey

Update 2/13-

Shawn began treatment this week. He will go through a 5 day treatment every 21 days-so it’s intense. So far, he feels okay. Nurses report days 10-12 at home will be rough. Update 2/4-

Update on Shawn...

We saw the oncology doctor on 2/3 Shawn gets his mediport installed this Friday, and will start treatment on Tuesday of next week! He'll be doing the DA-EPOCH-R treatment, so it will be 5 days of in-patient treatment, then 16 days home, for 6 rounds.

He and Chelsey both really like the doctor and that is doing wonders for their peace of mind. Some of the donated funds have gone towards their rent and living expenses as well as getting Chelsey’s car tuned up so she can have reliable transportation to her new job as a licensed massage therapist and to take Shawn to and from appointments and treatment. They are so, so, so thankful for your love, support and generosity. It takes a village and we can keep rising them up during this time ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Update 1/16-

Shawn and Chelsey are so overwhelmed and thankful for all the outpouring of support and encouragement. They are both feeling more optimistic and peaceful with things and your contributions have been such a big part of that.

Shawn Davies is the love of my best friend's, Chelsey Trentham, life. They met years ago while both working at a skydiving drop zone. They have both worked hard and made sacrifices to be where they are as individuals, as well as the beautiful couple they are.

They still don’t have all the answers, but Shawn was admitted to the hospital with some big concerns and was just diagnosed with aggressive large b-cell lymphoma. He is unable to work at the moment.

Shawn is a very talented wood worker and specializes in furniture. He is good at his craft and loves it.

None of us know what tomorrow holds, but to offer the peace of mind for help with medical and everyday expenses can lift a huge burden off both of them. In addition, if you’re local and want to prepare a meal for them, that is welcomed as well-fyi there are some dietary restrictions.
