Financial help for my mom and Frank

Hello my name is Amanda i started this GoFundMe in hopes to help with any immediate costs after a fire at my mom's house. Everything is lost and my mom has not worked in more than 4 years because of her health she did not have house insurance. This year has been very crazy one for my mom. On January 1st she was taken into the West Coast General Hospital for life threatening sickness. My mom was sick and ended up getting pneumonia, septic, ketoacidosis, kidney failure she was on dialysis for 4 weeks in Nanaimo ICU she woke up from her induced coma and she was blind. Her vision is extremely poor and she is waiting for a specialist to see if she can get her sight back. During her recovery back in Port Alberni at West Coast General Hospital my mom fell and broke a hip. My older sister stepped in to help my mom 24/7 after her discharge March 11 2025, so Gloria has been staying at my sisters to receive her daily needs as she can not do all of her daily activities by herself. My mom Gloria Fred is now displaced from her home along with her spouse Frank Pollard. We were preparing my mom's place for her to relocate back home where we would have home supports and nurses set up along with family to help her with her daily activities back at home. My mom has a long road ahead of her still and now has lost all their belongings in the house fire. We will have to rebuild. I thank you all for reading my mom and Frank's story.
