Financial help for my treatment for Leukemia
Donation protected
Hello everyone it is with great sadness that I’ve just been diagnosed with Leukemia. This has been a tremendous shock for both me and my wife & our family.
I went for my annual checkup and discovered that both my white and red blood cells are very, very low. I’m about to begin the journey ahead to fully recover and beat this terrible disease.
My wife Patrice and I have been together now for 30 years. We run our own clothing business and we just moved into our new apartment in Hawaii.
We were in NYC for fashion week when we were given this terrible news.
Now we can not travel back to Hawaii & we must find an apartment here in New York City.
My wife will try to keep our business going as it’s just the two of us. We really could use your financial help as we all know the medical bills and treatments cost money.
Getting to and from the hospital each day in a taxi as I can’t take the bus or train. My medication has been quite costly as I’m on many medications. One drug in particular is over $3500 dollars. Hospital bills are coming every few days.
I begin treatment tomorrow and have just been informed that I’ll be in hospital next week for at least 3 weeks. What happens after that we don’t know?
When I am allowed to return home we have to find a new apartment to rent in New York City and that’s expensive. We need to find a way to pack our apartment up in Hawaii get our belongings to NYC and try to make a new home.
The doctors have advised us we have a long road ahead. A good year in fact.
Every little bit will help fund my medical and living expenses over the next year some of which I’ve listed above. Winter in approaching and we were not planning on living in the city as I’ve mentioned above.
Myself and my wife thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Im only 72 and I plan on staying around for many years to come.
Thank you again everyone. Please keep me and my wife in your thoughts and prayers
