This is something I never imagined I’d have to do, but I’m reaching out because I truly need help.

As many of you know, I went through a divorce a little over two years ago, and the journey since then has been incredibly difficult. For the past year, I’ve been caught in an ongoing court battle after my ex filed to modify our child support agreement, attempting to significantly reduce what he’s required to contribute. Despite court orders, he’s consistently paid far less than mandated, which has placed a heavy financial strain on our household.

The full cost of the divorce was placed on me, and then again had to pay for legal representation to defend myself in this current case. As of yesterday 4/24/25, my attorney has withdrawn from my case—just one day before our final hearing, scheduled for 4/25/25. Now, I’m faced with the daunting task of finding new legal representation within the next 30 days so I can return to court and continue fighting for what’s right for my children.

Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the funds to hire a new lawyer or cover retainer fees. I’ve been doing everything I can—working three jobs to make ends meet, while my husband is also working two jobs—but it’s not enough right now.

As hard as it is to ask, I’m humbly reaching out for help. If you’re in a position to support us in any way, whether financially or by sharing this, it would mean the world to me. I’m deeply grateful for any help, and even more so for the love and support I’ve already received throughout this journey.
