On July 26th 2023, Tonya Keaton had an accident at work resulting in 2nd degree burns on 20% of her body. She was taken to the hospital, and was quickly transferred by lifeflight to Portland Medical Center due to the severity of her burns. She has undergone skin grafts, and over 2 weeks in the hospital, but was able to come home recently. 

During this time, Jim and Tonya have not had any income other than help from generous and supportive friends and family, but they continue to be out of solid work at this time. Tonya’s condition has improved greatly, praise God for that!

But she will not be able to return to work for the foreseeable future.

I am organizing this go fund me to ask for financial support for Jim and Tonya, as well as continued prayers for the situation as a whole.

Tonya is currently still in a lot of pain, and is suffering from ptsd and anxiety. Prayers for those things specifically are appreciated. 

Any and all donations will help the Keaton’s to pay for life’s regular necessities and needs during the continued healing and recovery, and beyond, until The Lord brings an opportunity for income in other ways. They are currently receiving workman’s comp, but the amount is small.

Their medical bills have been taken care of.
