Financial Help for George and Rachel Hinton

George was taken to the ER on Christmas Eve of 2022 and was found to have extremely high blood sugars (1600) and blood clots in his brain suggesting a stroke. He was then airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital and admitted to the ICU on Christmas Day. Once there, he was found to have multiple masses in his lungs, a thrombosis, a brain aneurysm and possible cancer.

After a week of ICU/hospital stay and many tests, they sent George home on New Year's Day to await biopsy results for the cancer testing.

On Friday, January 6th, George was given a terminal cancer diagnosis of Pediatric Rhabdomyosarcoma Stage IV with a life expectancy of 6 months or less. He has now entered in-home hospice, so he can spend time with his wife, children, first grandbaby, family and friends.

We are raising these funds to help alleviate some of the financial burden of medical expenses, food, hotel, gas, bills and upcoming funeral expenses.

George and Rachel were both hospitalized in September of 2021 with Covid for multiple weeks. Rachel is the only income in the household, owning and operating a daycare. Being out of work for over 6 weeks during Covid and the last 2 weeks with George's medical issues, income is very limited and Rachel does not get paid if she does not work.
