Hello this is Barb Ascher and my daughter gave birth to premature twins on March 13, 2018.   Khloe Faith Cole weighed 2 pounds and 5 ounces and admitted to Childrens hospital of Orange County (CHOC) nicu.  Khloe was born with a large vsd (hole) in her heart and a narrow aeoric arch which was discovered while in the womb.  Due to her small size, at 3 weeks old Khloe was flown to San Francisco for emergency open heart surgery.  Dr Reedy and team performed a successful surgery and she was flown back  to CHOC to continue with nicu care.  Khloe was thriving; gaining weight and completely off oxygen only needing to take the bottle to be discharged when suddenly she became real sick real fast.  Within 48 hours she went from no oxygen support to being on a vent fighting for her life.  A heart cath confirmed she had Pulmonary Stenosis and Pulmonary Artery Hypertension for which was so severe there was no medical answer to fix this diagnosis.  

On June 22, 2018 heaven received and angel as we had to say our last good byes to Khloe Faith.  I ask that you all continue to pray for this young family during this difficult time.
