Indiana's most experienced and accomplished instructor of the Transcendental Meditation® technique, Chuck Watkins, has recently undergone open-heart surgery to remove a tumor near his heart and left lung. The surgery was a surprise to him, though he had been experiencing health setbacks for a while as a result.
Good news! The tumor is both benign and gone, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
The challenge is that he will face substantial medical bills and could use some help. Chuck has been in my life since November 1975, when he gave my introductory talk on the TM technique. I'm raising $10,000 for him by the end of September so he can resume work at a comfortable pace and not be burdened with difficult debt.
