Hi, my name is Guila Jackson, mother to Bryan Jackson and mother-in-law to Devone Jackson

 

The last few months so many things have

happened that have put my son Bryan and his wife, Devone, in a financial crisis. And now

another obstacle from a trauma this past

Monday.

I would like to start this go fund me

for them as a short term source of help until

they can both be back at work.

 

Both Bryan and Devone are hard workers but

health issues and unexpected events have

really put a strain on things.

 

In November, Bryan, a cancer survivor, and

Devone, who has MS, were doing well with

good paying jobs as they worked at a non-

profit, a job they both loved, was unexpectedly shut down.

 

After a waiting time they began receiving

unemployment benefits, which have now run

out.

 

Devone had two really bad cases of COVID

and she still hasn’t regained her health.  I think she has what they are calling Long Term

COVID. She has not regained her strength and gets fatigued very easily. This makes it hard for her to work full time.

 

Bryan had been doing security work at a

concert venue.  Things were on the road to

recovery.

 

This past Sunday Bryan was attacked by a straydog.  He has six stitches in his hand.  He also

has a bite at the top of his thigh. That night a

hematoma the size of a golf ball had formed.

By morning it was huge.  He tried to get up andpassed out.  An ambulance was called to

transport him to the hospital.  His blood

pressure was dangerously low.

 

He is still in the hospital.  When he sits up, his

blood pressure goes down. They determined

his ankle is broken and will need surgery.  He is going to be recovering and unable to work for several weeks.

 

I would be forever grateful and blessed for

your help. This the one thing as Momma bear I can do to help. After much pondering and

prayer, they allowed me to post this as they

are both very prideful but know they are at a

roadblock. I believe that God will provide their needs until they get back on their feet.  Help if you can and want to.  May God richly bless

This will help with their monthly utilities and bills, food, their health insurance premiums, medication and medical out pocket expenses.
