Financial support for medical expenses due to Covid-19
Donation protected
Good day! My name is Alan.
due to the covid pandemic, I ended up receiving the Covid-19 virus at my workplace. I was placed on the ventilator twice and was put under a medically induced coma for 3 1/2 weeks. While I was hospitalized at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, my wife was at home where she had almost passed away from covid with nobody to help or assist her while I was hospitalized. We both survived and got a 2nd chance at life. I was hospitalized for a total of 2 months. This included hospitalization and recovery (cardiovascular and respiratory therapy). I am now oxygen dependent and will be for the rest of my life due to pulmonary fibrosis in both lungs which restricts my breathing. I'm 63 years of age and was hoping to retire healthy in 6 years. Hopefully, my health will bounce back for the better. Unfortunately, I am struggling to meet medical expenses and financial responsibilities. I usually don't ask for financial help and didn't know who I could reach out to. So I decided to start a GoFundMe post. Any amount is greatly appreciated. My livelihood has changed drastically being oxygen dependent with regular appointments at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, Vermont. There's a lot of things I can no longer do now.
Thank you for your valuable time reading this post and your support. I will be very grateful for any help you can give us. It's been a very rough and tough journey for the both of us but a blessing to be alive.
Thank you!
