We received a call from my girlfriend’s mom telling us her dog was dying, so we raced up to Victorville to try and save her. By the time we got her to the animal hospital, she was suffering from hypothermia. The vet gave her a little more than a 50% chance to live, so we agreed to IV treatment, hoping for the best. Sadly, she developed kidney issues overnight and passed away, leaving us with a large vet bill and a heavy heart.
While we were still dealing with the loss, I took my car to the Victorville dealership because the transmission had failed. I paid a diagnostic fee, but they told me my lifetime power train warranty was void because there was no inspection in 2024. I knew I had done the inspection at Tustin Tuttle Click Dodge Jeep Ram, and they had it in their records. The service manager said he would try to convince Dodge to honor the warranty, but it turned out the proper inspection wasn’t done, and I was still denied. They only offered to forgo labor, but still wanted a significant amount for a new transmission. This forced me to buy another car, which ended up needing repairs and has cost me much more than expected, even though the original sale price was lower.
These back-to-back hardships have made it impossible for us to catch up financially. We’re doing our best to stay positive and get back on our feet, but we could really use a little help right now. If you’re able to support us, please know that your kindness will go directly toward paying off the vet bills and helping us restore some stability. Please only help if you can afford to. To all the Kyles that support us NDH and for everyone else, our deepest thanks. Your generosity means more than we can say.
