Financial emergency due to work injury

Hi, my name is Amber. The man you see pictured is my husband. He’s a hard working husband, father and grandfather. He has been a truck driver for 10 years, the last two years, he’s been hauling heavy equipment. On June 1, 2022, that all changed. He was unloading equipment on a job site when the accident happened. He ended up with two shattered elbows, (one was compound fracture) and two broken wrists. He will be out of work for a long time. Worker’s compensation has started to roll in, but it isn’t enough. Inflation+California living isn’t exactly helping either. Also, I can’t go to work, because I am literally his arms. He cannot feed himself, go to the bathroom, shower, or anything without my help. We are over a month behind on everything, and overdrawn because those ACH’s sneak up on you too. You prepare yourself for things in your life until something like this happens. All of our medical trips so far have been in Lancaster, which is over 80 miles from us, and we drive a diesel. Our son will also be starting his first year of high school 08/08/2022 and have yet to take him shopping, but we can’t afford to do that now. Whatever you can give will be most helpful in our time of need. Thank you and God bless
