Hello today is July 21, 2025 and it has taken a while to get to this point. We are so desperate it’s ridiculous and we are in so much need it’s gut wrenching… our hearts are breaking.

My family which consists of my husband James and our 3 children: 11 yo Cammy, 5 yo Isaiah, and 18 mo Reina are going through a very huge financial crisis. Without having to write a novel, this is what we’re going through:

>We are both negative $400 in our checking accounts.

>we had to reason with the electric company to keep the lights on until Friday that we will have to pay $400 to keep on

>every bill imaginable seems like it is due: my car insurance ($250), cellphone ($150), electric bill ($400), internet/cable bill ($300), daycare for this week ($300), rent due on the 1st ($1300), allllll my husbands bills that are very behind. My car payment is $420 and I’m behind at least 3 payments. Husband’s car is in the shop and thankfully will only take $100 to get out but we don’t even have that let alone money for gas and an oil change that it desperately needs.

My car? My car needs a new headlight, a side mirror, 4 new tires….a new windshield….. it’s our only mode of transportation right now until we can get his car on the road and we’re facing it being repoed if payments are not caught up to date. We both work very important and demanding jobs for the community. Without saying what they are: I work for abused children and he works for fathers who are in great need of basic life services and other important resources. Our jobs are very demanding and require our own vehicle to be able to accomplish our duties.

We have been struggling for months and months and now we are at such a low point where we honestly and seriously don’t know what to do. We have tried endless loan companies and credit card options with no luck. We don’t hardly have any family or friends for any support let alone financial help.

> He doesn’t get paid until 7/25 and that is all going to go towards debt already owed and a few bills let alone rent that is due which is $1300/month.

>I only get paid once a month and am severely struggling to stay afloat as well. So I don’t get anything until 8/1 and that will go towards the negative balance in my account and go towards debt owed towards bills

> Isaiah is going to Kindergarten. Cammy is starting junior high in 6th grade, and Reina will need to continue going to daycare which is $160 a week once school starts. (Right now it’s $250 with Reina and Isaiah)

We have been unable to get any new school clothes for any of the children and they are in great need of clothes, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts to get ready for school.

We are facing a real financial crisis and that’s not talking about our emotional and personal crises that continues to heat us up this summer.

We are doing everything we possibly can to try to stay afloat and we are at our end….. we are fearful we will end up under the bridge at this point!!! No but seriously. We don’t know what to do. We have tried every resource imaginable with no luck.

We are asking for anything at this point. We are running out of food for the kids and running out of every basic thing we need to keep going. We don’t even have any gas money to take them to daycare let alone go to work and do all the things both of our jobs demand.

We are so sad and desperate and just praying to God for an absolute miracle at this point.
