Financial burdens of Eric’s medical treatment.

Eric Rickard, proud father of two, member of Hells Angels Beach Side, and marine veteran was recently admitted to the hospital for Burkitt Lymphoma. We are asking for donations to help Eric and family with the financial burdens of his medical treatment.

On May 16th, Eric was sent to the emergency room with concerning leg swelling and possible DVT, a CT scan revealed the swelling and blood clots in his left leg were due to inadequate drainage and blood return caused by lymph node enlargement with suspected lymphoma.

While waiting for oncology consult, Eric suffered bilateral pulmonary embolisms and was admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment with intravenous anticoagulants and observation.

On May 26th results from the biopsy’s confirmed diagnosis of Stage 2 Burkitt Lymphoma.

Eric is currently receiving the first session of inpatient chemotherapy. He will need 5 sessions of inpatient chemotherapy over the next 3-4 months, prognosis is good and Eric is expected to make a full recovery after treatment.
